How do the Cardiff qualifiers work??

Cant someone explain? dont get how the one in five thing works?

I'm not really sure they can make it any more obvious ...

1 in 5 people win a seat !  

e.g   50 runners.   top 10 !  (1 in 5) win a seat !

Hi Clinton,

For every FIVE runners in the 9.30pm semi, one seat to SPT Cardiff is awarded.

So, 5 runners = 1 seat, 10 runners = 2 seats, 15 = 3, & so on.

Any "left over" money - if there are, say, 7, 12, or 17 runners, is awarded to the "seat bubble", being the player who LAST busts before the Seats are awarded.

That make sense?

2 options, you can either buyin to the satellite for £22 + £2 and 1 seat for every 5 people who enter, so if 22 people enter, there will be 4 SPT seats and 5th place will get the left over money (as there were 2 people more than needed for 4 seats) so 5th would get £44.

The other option is to play the £5, where there is 1 seat for every 5 people who enter and these people will win a seat into the above £24 satellite.

haha yeah it makes sense now, dunno why but i couldnt work it out?? Thanks for explaining

Vanessa is my favorite player. I like everything about her, the way she plays, the way she looks I really like this game theory she uses which is way over my head when i cant work out what a 1 in 5 qualifier means hahaha

Has that interview you did with her been on? if not i'll have to look out for it.
