Greatest memory of the SPT was railing Sian (YORKIE74) to 7th in last year's final

2nd Greatest memory was dealing Richard Orford to side event glory in Leeds (a fact often overlooked)

It has to be said Rich Prew and all the team do a terrific job!

My best memory of SPT is like Greg's from the Edinburgh SPT in 2009.
Coming from Guildford I flew up to Edinburgh from Gatwick.
Sunday after the SPT comes and I am on the flight back down to Gatwick and a blizzard in the South East occurs. The captain comes on the tannoy and says unfortunately we are diverting to Stansted and then quarter of an hour later says we are lucky we have the last slot at Heathrow. Land at Heathrow snow everywhere so BA arrange for us to be put up at a hotel.

Get to the hotel and think I can have a drink now since im not driving anywhere. Go to the bar to be told we are not serving alcohol because there are so many people here you can have a soft drink.Get up next day Terminal 5 closed so no help there although lots of queueing people. M25 closed at Leatherhead so cant take railair coach to Gatwick but can get to Woking. Take taxi home from there.Next day (Tuesday should have been back at work Monday) take train they are finally running to Gatwick. Retrieve my car after having to dig it out the snow. Pay for an extra 2 days at exorbitant airport car park rates and go home.

    Don't think I'll forget that.

Satellite play varies depending upon the number of players per seat.

The sky roller 2 out of 25 satellite required much more agression, than a standard 1 in 5 satellite.

The rest has been said by Tikay.

    Hand ID : 495726001

    £110 Sky Roller

Have I played this hand correct? and Should I be betting the river (if so, value or turn in a bluff) or is the check ok?

The thing I hate most in satellites (and it applies to dyms as well). Is when a short stack is all in  on the seat  bubble  (dym payout bubble) and then 2 other players play as well.  Then before the hand is over one of those 2 other players decides to raise. This makes absolutely no sense in any sense as it is the bubble why would you want or need to get rid of the other player! Seen this play a number of times

no1 said the seat had been locked up but if its allready locked then your fairly deepstacked anyways against people who are playing tight because of the bubble and short stackers wont effect your stack hyperthetically.

Just bust out of the Bounty Main at 29th pos.  I got a free tounry ticket for an on air  comp and cashed, taking only 1 solitary bounty but had a ton of fun and never would have entered as it's out of my bankroll range as silly as it may sound.  Thanks sky great night.

Great to see the legend that is Tighty on the show tonight.

Question - Blackpool this year will be the first SPT Bounty Hunter.  Bearing in mind it's a two day event yet still a Bounty Hunter do you think the play will be nearer towards cautious like the previous two dayers this season or towards carnage which is standard for a Bounty Hunter?

do you think swapin hand histories with some1 to get a diff view on each others play could benefit your game?

when i first started playing poker tight/aggresive was the ideal playing style do you think this has now changed and if so what is the ideal style in the modern game?

p.s. does tikay stake people if so does he want a new recruit?

    thanks drrungood

silly question but to give the bounties more value at blackpool .could you not make them £45 per head and give a semi final seat for the vegas comp TO the player who takes the most bounties? then they would be worth going for IMO

My fav memory of an SPT is..... can't remember - I'm always hammered!

Oh, no... wait! Luton SPT... TRIP5 (co driver) puts the hotel in sat nav, we end up at the casino... so, put the hotel in the sat nav.... driving along and saying I don't remember this, carries on driving..... then spots the dozy binttttt had put her address in - back to Bradford we go! So, I make a last minute spin in the road and end up stuck in the road, as in the dark we didnt see the workmans trench and ditch that I slammed my car into! Facing death in the face and a crazy woman screaming - I survived!

    LOL Rich

They DO walk round the zoo, open the pen and they stroll round a section of the zoo before going back

It's purely voluntary as well, they only do it if they want to

the thing i mean bout hand history is to hear from some1 else their view on how your playing and any leaks they might pick up that you dont notice looking at your own history.

reason why i ask is because i read jake cody used to swap hand histories with a friend and by doing this he said his friend pointed out leaks and he saw a few diff moves his friend made that he used
