Had this hand and wondered if i donked off all my chips? made up the pot  as big blind  it was checked round to last player who i thought was trying to steal the pot on a low rainbow flop, with top pair top kicker I did not want to see another card, cant just call, a min raise properly wont get rid of a draw so I thought all in or was I just unlucky coming up against trips

Easy to say you shouldnt be in the pot here but is marginal since action cant be re opened.

Cant see a hand we beat that bets against side pot tbh, other than obv worse 9's, and if tey do have a worse 9 why are we shipping.  Dont like it tbh.

4 to flop, top pr 2nd kicker........

Personally I dont put a chip in unless action is checked to me or smash flop.  We arent deep enough to really play, for this reason I likely fold pre, but i dont like it.

Looking again thought we were calling 130 pre but is 230 I think?  Def fold pre.

"Making up the blinds" is the most common way of doing a lot of chips. Fold pre.

Remember your putting in another 230 chips with K high in a 4 way pot out of position. Rarely is this going to be a happy ending.

    Easy fold pre.

Flop actually played quite well letting him barrel off a cbet.

Thanks for the reply's looks like fold pre was the way to go, then there is no decision to be made after the flop  will remember for next time

As played, 2 things to consider ur out of position, playing hands such as these ur really hoping for 2 pair / flush etc etc, but the biggest thing you forgot to consider, from out of position you dont want huge pots unless you hit your Killer hand

if you are going to play this hand, you needed to raise after the flop, not check raise, the raise is really to ask the question does anybody have any of this flop, if you get a call, or reraised sadly we let it go and wait for better opportunity.... the main problem with this is, because of how big the pot is now with 4 callers you would have to raise a quarter of your chips, the same raise size the other guy made just to find out if you have the best hand as a result pot control would of been impossible, which is what your looking for with this kind of hand

hope you understand what im trying to say :) lol im sleepy so it may be a bit jumbled

Sorry but don't feel you should have entered hand. It can giveyou difficult decisions unless you flop really well eg two pair ven though this flop is a good one with no flush or str draw and poss only tt as a hd that would be better and not reraise the raiiser( though with that m value i'd have shoved with tt,and middle pairs myself.)
When you get the flop, i dont see why you shouldn't shove then with top pair and vg kicker though. Its the entry into thepot thats dodgy , i think. Cheers....gl at the tables

shouldnt be calling a 3 x raise with k9 out of position here asking for trouble
