Only thing I would do different here is bet the turn bigger, maybe around £4.20. Calling the river is fine, a lot of inexperienced players would raise here which is a bad move, so a flat call is good.

Sick when you cant even raise with top set. Almost folded, but ive seen so many players crop up with stupid two pairs or bluffs so didnt think the fold was profitable.

Well, to talk about this in terms of profitability on the river we have to just look at the pot odds. We're getting 3/1 for the call so that means in order to break-even in this spot in the long-term we have to beat about 1/4 of his range. I think it's probably fair to say that he could value bet some two-pairs and lower sets or could be spewing with a weird bluff, so this is probably a profitable call...

    bet flop bigger

    definitely bet turn bigger

river is fine. against average 20NL villain its closer to a raise than a fold imo

The hand is pretty sick. But the check-call, check-call, bet river line is so often the nuts. Most fish will check call with cards to come and then check fold the river when they miss and donk bet for value when they hit. Nice work losing the minimum

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I do agree that the turn bet should have been bigger, was just trying to keep a bad hand like k10 kj kq in the hand, which usually hits my opponents limp-call range. Thanks again.

Played pretty much spot on IMO, maybe a bit bigger on the turn, around £4. UL

Sickening when these limp callers do u on rivers, quite often u dont want to bet too much to keep them in and they will always hit. UL mate.
