Would you call this river bet

I had been playing on this table for a while and the guy who went to the river with me had been playing a solid game he was three betting in position quite a bit but was not calling out of position. When he went to showdown he always had a decent hand so when he called my bet i knew he had some sort of hand to see a flop with.

My raise preflop was a bit on the low side but to be honest whenever i did raise people were just folding and i did not want to scare everybody away. When he bet the river i really was not sure where i was in the hand, any thoughts welcome.

Thanks for the reply Dudeskin what i was thinking was if i shove the river i am only going to get called by a set or a flush,i find that i get myself in this situation quite a bit where i am not really sure where i am in the hand.

I like your direct approach to the river decision, thanks again for the feedback.

Looking back at the hand the guy limp/calls a fairly large raise OOP which doesn't seem super solid as you describe.

I haven't played cash for a while but the only hand I'd consider that with would be small pairs that have good implied odds if they hit, I would personally never do it with suited conectors that on this particular board play quite well as it'll be a leak longterm plus it's how fish play lol so if he has those types he isn't good just lucky.

Other hands that like this board are AJ/KJ/QJ/J10, I'd presume he'd raise AJ/KJ and fold other two, so limping inrules them out imo.

Against a decent player the only hand they could possibly have is 77 but I would still personally raise that pre.

I appreciate you have reads but for me this just feels like a TP hand stationing off all streets and with paired board your hand gains even more value, only thing to worry about is flush but that's only part of his range.
