After reading that sky poker school or clinic will be on Poker Tube now i copied this from the showthread where it was mentioned
 6.         Poker Tube
- Sky Poker Schools are now starting to go up on www.pokertube.com
- Go to the home page of the site or search for Sky Poker
- These are all repeats but if you missed on the channel it's another way to get all your top poker advice

What does this actually do? I was told they staked players (small amounts) . They were even staking the The Don90 :) - players could also stake each other

But then they said they wouldn,t stake players anymore - only if they played on there website which is rush poker only and very small. I deposited a tenner and quickly lost it.  Can,t stand rush poker.

Does anyone at Sky know if they,re going to be staking again anytime soon w/o having to be new members of there affailite sites such as hills where if your a member anyway your results don,t count as you have to sign up through them and is sky now one of these sites they work with?

And do what do ppl on this forum think of there site and forum as i havent been on in a while and was wondering?

From a TV perspective I have no idea about the staking. We are simply using Poker Tube to get our episodes of Sky Poker School out to a wider audience.

If anyone is having trouble with the videos you need to do the following:

    1.     Right click in the video player where the distorted video is playing.2.     Select Settings from the context menu that appears.3.     This brings up the Adobe Flash Player settings popup box.4.     Select the Display tab in the settings box. This tab is often pre-selected when opening the settings box for the first time.5.     Find the check box labeled "Enable hardware acceleration" and uncheck the check box.6.     You are done.

I don't really undersatand your question, can you elaborate for me please?

If you are asking if Sky Poker "stake" players, no, absolutely not, & they never will.

There are staking outfits around, & in most cases, if they stake players, they insist that they play on certain sites. This is so that the STAKERS can get the benefit of the rake earned. As well as x% of the players cashes.

As I have stated before, I do not think being staked for Online Tourneys or Cash games is a sensible or wise route for lower stake players to pursue.

Don was staked to play on 888.

It was an experiment by the site, and surprisingly easy for Don to get the gig. (imo) Took like 2 emails either side......

What they were trying to do was make their site better. They need viewer poker vids for the site to work really, so a condition of the stake was that Don (and other stakees) would upload videos on a regular basis.

Obviously it all fizzled out, and they cancelled their staking programme after a couple of months.

So no, they're not doing it anymore.

It might have worked well if they spent more time ironing out the conditions and selecting the stakees.

    Good idea, poor execution imo.

Still a great site thought. Love the bear :)))))
