If I can't bluff that river then I'm never gonna bluff. Disciplined fold though.

Is it only me then that thinks this is a stationed two streets - possible three or does spanky think about bluffing any diamond scare card :s Called down like he got FD so.....

Thinks it's a snap call on river )

Think its an interesting line Spanky took, playing his 9,9 like a bluff.

Anything said for 9,9 having good value on this board.

Should u donk lead the river or check call, in this circumstance he gets a better hand to fold but is this a good play?

In response ..My thinking in the hand was not to assume that  my 9's were behind post flop. This villain has shown enough hands on here where he continuation bets with the likes of AK. Of course we are hoping to bink a 9 but dependent on the size of his river bet(some players have big tells here) I'm happy to call and go to showdown.

On the river I'm obviously gonna love a 9 but a diamond would have been good enough for me to make the same lead as I did when the Q came. I'd rather lead out as its cheaper than check raising if villain doesn't believe our story.

But if oppo has AK your ahead, why bluff with the best hand

or did turn or river edge your reasoning to "I am behind, therefore I must bluff"

What do you do on a blank river card - call or fold ?
I assume your c/f to a blank card when oppo bets half pot or />

considering that unless the villain has jdxd he probably never bets the turn with a jack, leading the river with 99 is really bad imo
