on your account u need the points at the bottom in league points box .not the total points at the top. these r used for entering freerolls. been saying for ages about 2 lots of poker points . and they still say its not confusing. lol

this happened to me throughout march.

did you play a session that bridged the midnight hour last night? this would create the difference but sky tried to explain in an earlier thread how this would be treated from now on

    Hi Guys,

How come there's a small discrepancy for some of you in the poker points earned displayed in the 'widget' vs 'my account' ?

Here's the answer.... it's a little complex to explain so please bare with us. Basically the two methods calculate points slightly differently for cash table play and during this transitional month there could be a small discrepancy either way.

The 'my account' poker points only counts points once you have stood up and ended your session at the cash table.
The 'widget' updates in real time whilst you are seated at the cash tables - you don't need to stand up for them to count.

    What does this mean?

Imagine you were playing a cash table session at the very end of February which bridges the midnight cut off for cash for points.

E.G. You sit down at 10pm on the 29th Feb and you dont stand up until 1am on the 1st March. The old 'my account' system would count ALL of the poker points earned in that cash table session in your March Cash for points total. This meant you had to stand up before midnight for them to count to your current month (not very useful)

The widget is more sensible, in the above example, all the points earned between 10pm and 23:59:59 would count towards February. All the points earned between midnight and 1am would count towards March.

Since this is a month in transition, the widget may show a few points less than 'my account' for now, if you had one of these sessions which bridged the gap. If you then do the same at the end of march, the widget will now count more points than the 'my account' section remember, so it will likely balance out.

To counter this, at the end of March, we will check your poker points earned as displayed on both the 'widget' and your 'my account' and we'll pay the cash for points bonus on whichever is highest.

Hope that makes sense - if you have any more q's please ask

    Best Wishes
