The Viva Las Vegas "Priority Freeroll", & "Catch 22".

I expect you have heard about this, where those who earn 25,000 C4P this month (April) get into a "Private Freeroll" for a £10,000 Viva Las Vegas package. Winner gets the £10k package, runner up gets entry into the "regular" VLV Final in May.

The more points (above 25,000) they get, the more chips they get in the Priority Freeroll. Interesting.....

Judging by the PM's I have been getting, there is some confusion about this.
 
The Promotion is billed as being for "Priority Players" only, but that is slightly misleading. 

It is open to ANY players.

However, to qualify, you need to earn 25,000 C4P in April, & in doing so, that would AUTOMATICALLY make you a "Priority Club" player.

It's somewhere between Catch 22, & "chicken & egg", if you get my drift.

    If you want that free shot at a £10,000 Viva Las Vegas package, the time to start going for it is now.

    Set yourself a target of 1,000 points a day - not easy, but life ain't like that, no pain no gain etc - & adjust up or down as you progress. Best to leave yourself some "spare", so you can miss a day or two without fretting or getting behind target.

    I've also been asked 3 or 4 times already how many players will be in that "VLV Priority Freeroll". I truth, I don't know, but I'm told that most months, around 10 or 12 would qualify for it. Me? I think the line will be higher - maybe 14 or 15.

    Not bad odds for a £10,000 package, though.....

    Good clarification Tikay.

    If anyone is interesting in following some grown men crack up while doing this, some diary peeps are doing updates all month.  Rolfus is having a go at it, as am I.

    Personally I think this is a great opportunity.

    it could quite possibly happen, if someone who qualifies for the freeroll was lucky enough to bink the package in aprils final. what would happen if they won the freeroll aswell?

    The Terms & Conditions state this, Mr H.....

    "....If you have already qualified for a VLV Package or part of a package then you will not be entered into the Final....."

    As to expected the supplementary question, in truth, I don't know! I'm sure it would be amicably sorted to everyone's satisfaction.

    No chance of someone like me getting 25,000 points in a month. You would need an obscene bankroll. You would also need to multitable about 8 at once I guess. A nice promotion for the high volume players, they obviously put in enough to warrant a free £10,000 package.

    Hi Tikay,

    Was going to post this in the "Ask Tikay" thread about this promotion anyway, but now that this thread has appeared, might as well post in here instead.

    C4P target this month is 10k for Priority Club but at the current rate I'm earning C4P at, I should smash that and getting to the 25k mark is a possibility.

    However, as I'm under 21 (and my passport is a year out of date, lol), even if I did get enough C4P, attempting to win a Vegas package when I wouldn't be able to play any Poker out there seems a bit pointless, and it'd be selfish for me to take the opportunity to play in Vegas away from someone else if I did luckbox my way to winning a package. 

    Therefore, I'm wondering if there would be any other reward available in this situation as opposed to the VLV freeroll entry?

    If you don't ask, you don't get :P

    The T&C states that if you are under 21 years old then you won't be entered into the Freeroll final Mr Pingu.
