Terrible or Genius Play? or Both?

Hand from the 25k Super Roller last night

I check on the turn, trying to keep the pot small as i'm abit suspicious here.

Every other time i shove on the end, but for some reason i really think i'm behind... At the time i thought the correct play was to call on the end as i've still got a playable 30 big bling stack behind and because i can't bring myself to fold there.

I know i technically made the right play as i was behind, but was the actual right place to shove and get knocked out?

I think you should bet more on the flop and then bet the turn then check/call or bet fold the river. As played you lost the min but prob losing value in long term here

    Check the flop imo.

Once you bet the flop checking turn is good, just fold the river. meh sorry I misread the board as KQQx K....

meh KQQx Q changes it so I would call the river, however I think though there is 'some' value in a shove I don't think there is that much and in a tournament of this 'prestige' and 'irregularity' I wouldn't make the highest variance play.
