Hi guys, just joined the show after being out all evening...

    I have a question...

I usually play low-stakes cash and SnGs with modest but consistent success, but like to use my Poker Points on Freeroll MTTs as a bit of fun. The tournaments usually have about 500 runners, with 5-minute blinds, making them quite turbo-ish.

I start off playing a quite solid and tight-aggressive style (but happy to get in all in with a monster). I do OK, and I am very good at surviving into the last quarter or third of the field, but by this point I nearly always find myself short-stacked (10bb or less) and then have to rely on a few lucky double-ups to cash.

I am not usually an MTT player. I have played 60 of these Freerolls and cashed in 11, including 3 final tables (but no win), making about £23, which is better than a kick in the teeth I suppose.

What tactics would you employ to maximise value out of these Freerolls, which I imagine play looser than 'normal' MTTs?

PS: Just joined tonight's Freeroll over 10 minutes late and found myself ahead of my starting stack!
