MTT - Late Stages - Fold or Re-jam?

Is this a good spot to re-jam. Obviously when I saw the cards turn over, I was pretty happy flipping with the shorty and ahead against the big stack, but do you think this is a good move long term. I wasn't sure if the flat by the big stack was fishy (monster) or just bad play, but I figured I had FE with me shove being a pretty big chunk of his stack

EDIT: Just for info, this is the £100 DS from the DTD and we are down to 13 players, I'm about 7th.

    Wow @ KJ.

    Rejam is fine IMO.

Yeah I thought so, just nice to hear it from more experienced players. Couldn't believe it when I saw he'd made the call with KJ

I just thought 16+ BB, at a stage where having 16BB is a pretty nice stack, was too much to open shove and would mean the stacks that had me covered would only call with hands that have am behind too. And I wanted to get more value from my AQ than just stealing the blinds... To be fair this turned out to be exactly what I wanted... I either wanted a 3bet jam which I'd call or what happened here (though I never imagined the big stack flatting, then calling a shove unless he had a real monster). Just an annoying result I suppose.

16bb is not a playable stack, unless you open 2bb then fold flop - which still feels icky
either open shoving or re shoving with this stack

Shouldn't really think about hands that are going to call, just the right play for the stack you have and take into account all the other factors - position etc..

what you gonna do with 77 ? If your open folding then may aswel be 72 - if you get my drift
what are your options depends on your stack  - fold or open shove

Yeah I know it's not a really playable stack, but it was the 2nd biggest stack on a 6handed table, so I had a the ability to bully a bit.

I agree it's a reshove stack but I thought it was too big to open shove (I could well be wrong) but obviously I can't re-shove UTG, apart from in this strange situation.

I'm never open folding 77 with this stack, I'm probably raising with the intention of calling off a jam. Again please tell me if this is wrong but it's what I'd do now being unknowledgable

nh, you can openjam, but I prefer raise/call with this stack as people can jam worse behind
