I undestand (and maybe most of us here) that the NLH tables have been toughest than they were couple of years ago due to many reasons. That's why I think more and more pros/players start playing Omaha.
My question is: Can someone be a winner at Omaha and be a losser at Holdem?
Considering that most players these days are introduced to Poker through Hold'em, I think it's much more likely people would be winners at Hold'em and losers at Omaha.
I don't think Hold'em is ever going to be less popular than Omaha (then again, people would've said the same about Stud and Hold'em at one point), but if Omaha keeps growing in popularity and the standard in Hold'em keeps rising, then one day we might see more people starting out playing Omaha as they may think there's no point playing Hold'em when the standard is constantly getting better and their edge is getting smaller.
