SPT Cardiff - What to do?

Hey guys, managed to get a seat at Cardiff which I'm really excited about as it will be my first ever live tourney (so expect a lot of horrendous poker etiquette) but I'm just wondering if I will get an email or a letter informing me of anything, or do I just have to turn up? Cheers

You will need to register at the casino, think you can do this online but either way its really easy and only takes a few minutes at the start of the day.  Remember to bring some photo ID.

Sky usually send an email out about a week before.  If you don't receive it then keep checking the forum as SPT Rich posts the info here anyway.

If its your first ever live game then don't be afraid to ask for help.  Just look out for Tikay or any other Sky people and they will be able to organise a quick 15 min practice game for you to get used to live terms/rules/etiquette.

There is a side event the night before the main event.  15+4 reg fee I think so if you are there the night before than that can help ease the nerves!

Cheers for the advice mate, really helpful. Yeah I might try that side event as like you said it could settle any nerves I might have!

Erm think I got through on my third attempt. Also I doubled my money on the first attempt as I just finished outside of the seats for the semi. Sooo overall probs paid about £10 max. so happy days!
