Player screen names on sky poker

Just wondering if a players alias is monitored when they first choose it or not ?

Reason i am asking is because i have just seen 2 players with rather dodgy screen names 1 of which seemed to be racist and the other what basically just said F . . . O F F ( without the missing letters)

Just seems rather strange that names like these would be allowed on a poker site and would be interesting if they appeared on one of the live show hands :).

This has been more of a problem as of late.

In the past Sky Poker has asked for any of the questionable names to be reported to customer services so they can be reviewed.

    Good morning ARAZI.

Pop the names in a PM to me, or, as Aaron says, to Custmer Care, & the matter will be dealt with as appropriate.

As to the Live Show, from time to time one or two iffy names do get through to the Studio, but the Presenters & Analysts never read them out.

Although I am an eager & reasonably competent student of human psychology, individuals who think that sort of thing is clever, or even funny, is quite beyond my comprehension. Ah well, such is life.

On a Live Show a week or two ago, the origin of your alias was mentioned, but it's hard to have this sort of  convo on a Live TV Show, as it does not interest many, but I have quite an interest & knowledge in bloodstock & breeding, so the alias "ARAZI" is no mystery to me & that is why I was curious.

The very next day, a friend of mine - "Chumpy", who works in the Horseracing business, sent me this....(below).

I could drone on for hours about this animal, I know the breeding on both sides like the back of my hand, who owned it, what it was named after, why, da de da.

I'll spare you all that, & just say.....

    absolutely sensational!

I must have watched that race 100s of times over the years mate and yet everytime i see it i am still astounded by the way "ARAZI" blew away a field of grade 1 horses including the top rated american horse "Bertrando" who in any other year would have been the easy winner of the race after having a uncontested lead throughout which is one of the hardest things to overcome in any horse race but yet "ARAZI" did it with ease v the best america had to offer.

It really was ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL !

Just sat and watched that race twice through....... amazing.
Must have been an awesome feeling to have been on that horse, and watching it live.

As to screen-names, offensive and discriminatory is clearly not on, but some are funny, and a bit clever.
I remember when I first started playing, and was tuning into PNL, there was a player called Hoofhearted, which I thought was quite witty (I'm obviously easily pleased!).

Lol Neil, I remember him well!

They had a few really iffy ones over there @ PNL, but the Management never seemed to care about stuff like that.

Can't figure why they went busto, one of those mysteries, eh?......

That was the year that Shiekh Albadou (ridden by Pat Eddery) won the Breeders Cup Sprint. They thought he'd never win because the sprint was their race, hence why he started at something like 25-1.

Nevertheless he crushed it like Tikay at an SPT side event!

My favourite alias must have belonged to a continental gentleman as he referred to himself as Jacques Schidt.
I loved it and told him so in the chatbox.

I was actually going to mention this in-directly. I wasn't going to mention their name, BUT I can see this being changed soon enough (as I don't believ there is an O in their name), my question would be, if their name changed would notes stay on this person as I play them nearly every day and would be a bit annoying if they (or anyone) came back with a different name and no notes yet they still had theirs on me.
