    3.40 - Little Josh. 8/1

FWIW i have done a double on

Always Waining (Topham Chase) My pick originally for the National.

Had a brainwave then and also went for Apt Approach in the Topham.

posted this on wrong thread. Have a look

If you respect Henry De Bromhead have a gander at catchersinscratchers in 4.15 , currently 100-1.

Ok no mare has won this for a few years but as such gets weight all round. Has won at this trip on good ground, they have watered selectively, so dont see it being soft. Lightly campaigned and ran on ground it doesnt like last time and blew up 3 out on comeback race. Will strip a lot fitter this time out.

Ok hot race and she might not win but she wont run like a 100-1 shot and at 20-1 a place sure is value.

poquelins 2nd to giant bolster giving away heaps of weight looks all the better now after gold cup, but doesnt seem to relish aintree. then had a look at wishful thinking whos best performance was giving my old favourite medermit a good hiding here last year, and despite being 4th yday i personally felt medermit ran a cracker bar a mistake 2 or 3 out. so a return to aintree could spark some life into hobbs' runner. its a no go race for me and more open than it looks at first glance. any cvhance on albertas vying for favourtism come the off?? backed finians at the festival but gut feeling might have his work cut out here, though did winone of  the novices at this venue last year

Backed Finians at Cheltenham and today, the horse is very very good.

Wouldnt surprise me if he wins a gold cup as well.

Lets hope he stays safe, because he could give plenty of joy in future years.

Stuck a tenner on Always Waining after Albertas cam in 3rd and finished off my double.
He was always going to win and shame and like you say Father V we will never know as far the National goes. Maybe next year or will he go for 4 in a row.

I'm in love the bloke at the minute !! Did Cape Tribulation with Grumetti and Cloudy Lane in a 50p patent yesterday.Today my £1 Patent was Always Waining,Ataglance , and unfortunately Doyly Carte in the last (probably still running!)Changed my last pick from Lovcen of Alan Kings who i backed at cheltenham and won today at 14/1 !Had a £3ew single on it but could have been very nice. Also got the placepot up for 6 lines at 50 pence stake. Also backed Always Waining in ew single as had already backed it for the National !Happy Days,Cheers all.

Brilliant any2suited. Kicking myself because I fancied Always Waining for the National and then didnt do it at a stand out price for the Topham. Am I an idiot, YES did Amigayle instead
