hi tk when you have a small bank roll witch games should you be playing i do ok on the sit and go tables on the low stakes but every time i decide to play a 2pound bounty hunter i useualy get 4bountys and make the first stage of the prize monney then it always seems as i get all my chips in with the best hand only for the large stack on table to call with any 2 cards and out draw me. this is not a moan but have been told of other players on site that when its comming to end of these events they clear all the shorter stacks out the game to get it over with could you put my mind at ease and tell me this is not the case as i enjoy playing on this site and watching poker on 865 but it is happening a lot. and could you tell me where i can get a list of all your live games and witch casino they are held so i could come and meet some of you of the site. hope to hear of you talos711.

1) Depends if you're a cash, STT, or MTT player, and depends on your playing style. As a rough guideline, I'd suggest:
Cash: 20 buy-ins
STT: 30 buy-ins
MTT: 50-100 buy-ins
And double those numbers if you're a Loose Aggressive player.
2) No, there's nothing to deliberately eliminate short stacks - Fact is, when you're short stacked, one bad beat will knock you out of the tournament, whereas having a big stack will mean you can survive a bad beat or two, so it just seems like when you're short stacked, you lose more often - You're more likely to get knocked out when you're short stacked, but of course, it doesn't matter who the short stack is, you still have the same % chance of winning the hand as you would if you were the chip leader.
3) If you're interested in live Poker, look for the "Sky Poker Tour" section of the forum. All of the relevant information will be in there.
The next live event on the Sky Poker Tour is in Cardiff, on April 28th - Satellites are every day @ 9:30pm, cost £24, 1 in 5 players win a seat into the £110 tournament. There's also some smaller satellites into the £24 satellite, I think they're £5.20 or £5.30, throughout the day, 1 in 5 get into the £24 semi final
There's a fairly cheap side event (£15 + £4, I think) for SPT Cardiff, so that would be the perfect opportunity to actually play live for the first time without breaking the bank.
Hope this helps.
