Sky Poker purchased their software kit for, initially, the Sky Poker UK Cash Game about 2 years ago, but I doubt we were the first buyer of it.
They were owned by Associated Press at the time, but have since been sold on, as AP are losing a bunch of money, & so hiving off non-core peripherals.
DTD MAY have been the first Live UK Cardroom to purchase & use it, or it MAY have been the first UKIPT, or "Tour" Event to use it. I'm sure there is a logical answer, DTD would not tell porkies, it rather depends how "first" is defined.
OMG. I was reading this and for a minute I thought I had accidently deleted Don's Post. Then I realised I was just ignoring him. lol Sorry for that young Donald ;o) Posted by JockBMW
thats it im ignoring you grrr lol.
I enevr meant it as a lie tikay i was just confused reading it. The news article seemed very recent and would match with the lack of a feature table back that up. your explination makes perfect sense
As far as I am aware, DTD have had their (Live venue) system in place for some time - several months at least, & have used it on numerous occasions. They run a Live Stream of their Final Tables more weeks than not, using that system.
The FT at UKIPT Nottingham was just a normal table They filmed it for a stream next week on Channel4.tv but no TV show anymore Nick Wealthall told me Dave Posted by SolarCarro
Hang on Dave... let me pick up that name for you ;o)
Really disappointed about that. Was looking forward to seeing the Sky Guys on the box. Never mind

The regular UKIPT Show from each venue was stopped, because the costs of making TV are so horrendously high, & they decided they could no longer justify it.
