    I cant possibly fold the turn? what am i suppose to believe he has a set of 5's?? Check, calls the flop, 5 comes on the turn and all in?

    Of course you can't fold the turn, and why would you, you're miles ahead. he has 4 outs. You just got unlucky. I'm sure there have been lots of times when YOU'VE got lucky though. People only post the bad beats they receive, never the ones they give.

    I dont really call this a bad beat i call it Horrible poker haha I can honestly say ive never done anything like this, go all in needing to hit a miracle 8 and hit it but i get your point.

    Like you say its just unlucky but so is my bank roll at the moment lol

    min raising out of 100 bb stack is funny looks like a hugh hand min raising out of 10 bb stack all in looks weaker :) hardly a bad beat tho is it

    Yeah I agree with Rancid abuot this being debateable, I think if you're always min-raising then it looks strange when you suddenly jam. But likewise if you keep open jamming, then min-raise when you pick up AA so you don't lose value, that will look fishy. As Rancid has said to me a ton of times, at these stages of MTTs, keep your raise sizes the same with AA as you would with JTs or 66

    Don't really know what advice your after with this post of oppo shoving on you with gutshot and you making an obvious call with QQ.

    This is a bad beat, what do we learn from bad beats - long term bad beats are good for us so.....gg

    mmmm I would say yes and no
    Depends if you oppo's will be aware of any change in your raise size
    If oppo are random bads, then I wouldn't worry about if you have been jammin 2 hands previous then min raising UTG w/AA - random bads are more likely to call pre to a min and station off on flops with TPGK so.... like a lot of things it depends

    All that logic goes out the window with 10bbs obv.  We ought to be in auto ship or fold mode for any hand.

    rrrr I disagree, if your playing versus oppo's that easily just call a min raise with marginals - then you want calls to a min - bearing mind it's a £2 MTT - you'll get more calls to a min than a shove


    but again it's debatable - just depends on table & oppo's
