Can any tech guys frow sky allow me to post on the forum using my ipad??

It will load the part so i can send a message,  but won't let me post.

I have not been able to post for months as I have only had an ipad to use the internet.

I now have access to a pc so can post, but seing that the presenters on sky now use ipads for the show it would be good if we could actually contribute using one.

I've never been able to either. Did ask a long time ago but not got a solution.

I struggle with Posting on here with an i-Pad too, though "read only" is fine.

Bear with me though, the "Community" software is on the "to do" list & having quite an upgrade in due course (no timescales given, so don't ask!), and that MIGHT make it i-pad friendly.

I'll try & find out, & let you know. Won't be today though. My reply, I mean.

You can't post here on an iPhone either, though you can register for tournaments.

You can contribute to an existing thread by clicking on 'Reply' (as I've just done on my iPad).

However, I don't believe it's possible to create a new thread or write a new post.

Oh right I see. I can't really justify getting a new ipad to post on here. I might try updating the software to see if that makes any differance...........cheers

It's an IPad 2 I have only had it a day or two. The company I work for have given it to me to try out. It is the 64gb 4g model and its very good at the mo. This is the first time I have used it to post on a forum and have had no problem at all doing so.

That is very odd. When you try to make a new post you can get into the headline box and type but not in the 'your post' bit.

I've just posted this reply on my iPad2.

I've got the 16gb version and posting seems not to be a problem.

Mine's an Ipad2. The problem is I never get the pop-up 'keyboard' in any of the input boxes.

I've just tried replying on my Commodore 16 but I don't see to be able to.  I'll try later on my Commodore Amiga 1200 with hopefully more success.
