My favourite night tonight, perfectly tailored for those who like less crash-bang wallop, & more schmoozing & cruising in the miggle lane.

7pm - The tikay Sleepie. 5k chips, £11, 10 minute Blinds.

7.30pm - The £22 Deepie, which had a much-improved THIRTY runners last night. I ran BAD in that last night, pah.

8pm - A corker - the £11 DOUBLE-STACK, 4k chips, £4,000 Guaranteed, 10 minute Blinds.

Does not get much better than that for me.

For those who prefer the action a little faster, the Tri-Cast gets bigger & bigger fields, viz;

9pm - £1k Guaranteed Open, £5.50.

9.30 - £1,500 Guaranteed £11 Bounty Hunter

10pm - £1,000 Guaranteed £5.50 Velocity

    I played my first ever Velocity last night, only because Rich & I were dual PTP-ers, & he nagged me to join him in it.

    The idea of playing a Velocity sent shivers down my spine, ugh, but it was actually great fun. I just turned up the Gamble Dial to Max, pretended I was Scotty, & had a ball.

    I confess, however, that running 6-8 into Tank's 9-9 was a little embarrassing when I flopped the sttraighty-poo, but he was OK with it.

    I ended up 9th of 110, with MereDonkey 7th.

    20 got paid - guess where Orford finisded?

    Amazingly, I hate the velocity and have played it about 5 ttimes in 3 years.

    As an aside, I was playing cash at the weekend and a reg there call Graham, sure you know him tall guy and mainly plays tournies and is a nit, said he was surprised cos I was playing like a rock.  A £20 profit for 9 hours play tho has made mt think that I'm not gonna play like that ever again.
