'Deals' in MTT Final Tables & Certain SNGs

I've played on various sites, and some offer a deal function. For example, in an MTT final table its a great way to reduce variance by offering the option of a deal being made. By which, if all the players at the table select the option for a deal to be proposed, then the play pauses while a deal is discussed and adjusted. 

Also to have this option in certain sit and gos, such as 6max etc

    Deffo agree for MTT's even though I hardly play them and get nowhere when I do lol, however, I'd say it's a no-no for STT's.

    Incidentally, one of the very few times I've played live I was 1/4 left with about 400k chips left out of 1 million. I didn't really know how deals worked then so refused it when the other 3 suggested it as I thought it would be equal split (I didn;t want to look like I didn't know by asking lol). - I finished 4th haha (KK no match for the mighty A6o for 780k pot soon after).

    Taking the deal would've given me about £6k instead of the £1,200 I got :(
