Football Freeroll

Noticed there's a Football Freeroll in the lobby tonight @ 7:30 but no details of prizes on the "Promotions" page despite what it says in the tournament lobby.

What prizes can I actually win? I hope it's significant to make up for potentially having to cheer on Scumchester United for the weekend :/ Think I'd have to sit out and let the other guy win if I got heads-up.

    My understanding is you win a team at the weekend depending on how they do you win free bets.

    Little confused myself, why would i want Wolves. :S

    Freeroll on Fridays

    That Friday feeling just got a whole lot better with Sky Poker thanks to our new ‘Freeroll on Fridays’ promotion. If you love your football as much as your poker, this is the tournament for you!

    Each week we’ll run a ‘Freeroll on Friday’, with a 100 Poker Point entry and a maximum of 1,000 runners. If you finish in the top 20 positions, you’ll ‘win’ a Premier League football team. You’ll then earn prizes according to your team’s performance in that weekend’s games.

    First place in the Freeroll on Friday wins the team placed at the top of the table, 2nd place has their next closest opposition and so on.

    Here’s what you win:

    • £10 free bet with Sky Bet if your team wins
    • £5 free bet for every goal your team scores – win, lose or draw!
    • DOUBLE the prizes if the game is shown live on Sky Sports!

    Terms & Conditions

    1. This promotion runs from 27 April 2012.

    2. Only players who finish in the top 20 of the 'Freeroll on Friday' are guaranteed a prize.

    3. The top 20 players will be awarded the Barclays Premier League team in the corresponding league position.

    4. That team's performance in the fixture on the following weekend (which will include any Monday evening games) will be used to decide the player's prize.

    5. If your football team doesn't play due to a postponement or abandoned game, you'll get a free £5 Non-withdrawble bet on Sky Bet.

    6. Bonuses will be credited by the Wednesday morning following completion of the weekend's fixtures.

    7. Sky Poker reserves the right to add, remove and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time provided that any such amendments shall not have a detrimental effect on any participant.

    8. Sky Poker Management decision will be final in all cases.

    So....just to clarify, if your allotted team does not score or win, you get zilch..nowt...nada? 100 poker points to 'win' a prize/team you might not get a return on?

    That's right! The higher you finish, the better the team = the more likely to score...

    I think its a good idea this freeroll wp sky. Whats going to happen in 2 weeks time when season is over?

    Is this the first tourny ever where a min cash (wolves) gets the same prize as the bubble!
