Saturday footy betting

As I'm off to the game tomorrow I thought I'd post up my picks for tomorrow now.

First & foremost I'm deliberately avoiding our game & Saints for my betting tomorrow. Partly because the prices are poor (1/4 for Saints!), partly because we always seem to mess things up when I put money on us & partly because I don't want to be rooting for Southampton under ANY circumstances tomorrow!

Saints SHOULD beat Coventry but then again Man Utd should have beaten Blackburn at OT at Christmas & Arsenal should have beaten both QPR & Wigan in recent weeks. And don't even get me started with Chelsea getting past Barca!!! Strange things happen in this game, particularly at the business end of the season. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Saints WILL drop points at home but the pressure is all on them.

Anyhow, on to the betting. Two for me for tomorrow

Main Acca:

Swansea to beat Wolves (H) @ 8/15
West Brom to beat Villa (H) @ 11/10
Sheff Weds to beat Brentford (A) @ 5/6
MK Dons to beat Rochdale (A) @ 4/5

The 4 way pays a shade over 19/2. West Brom & Wednesday are slightly risky picks but given recent form & what's at stake they both represent good value imo.

Long Shot Acca:

Swansea (-1) to beat Wolves (H) @ 11/8
Newcastle to beat Wigan (A) @ 11/8
Norwich to beat Liverpool (H) @ 13/5
Birmingham/Reading - DRAW @ 12/5
Bury to beat Oldham (H) @ 11/10
Bristol Rovers to beat Accrington (H) @ 11/10

The 6 way potentially returns a shade over a whopping 303/1 so only small stakes for a bit of extra fun.

    After a quick look. 

    Boro price looks massive to me !   6/5   should be an easy win V a mid-table nothing to play for Watford. 
    I am sadly a boro fan, and rarely back us  (because we are tragic)  but this price screams value.

    Arsenal evens at Stoke looks pretty tidy aswell.

    haven't done football bets for a while - why not start today after my beloved Chelsea made it into the final ;-)

    My main acca I've gone for: 
    - Swansea @ home against Wolves
    - West Ham @ home against Hull
    - Bury @ home against Oldham
    - Bristol Rovers @ home against Accrington Stanley! (who?)
    This is around 9/1 I think

    My other one
    - Cardiff away @ Crystal Palace
    - Aldershot @ home against Rotherham
    - Cheltenham @ home against Bradford
    This is around 7/1 I think

    Well the freebie came in (was always nailed on imo, but I'm down like 2k lifetime on 'nailed on' sporting events)

    Also won 3/4 buy ins on a the ch.4 racing....

    So hoping this is the start of a hot-streak, and am gonna try my luck with....

    QPR HT - Chelsea FT, 28/1 

    Think Chelsea might have abit of a hangover from Barca, and with it being a midday kick off, it might take them a while to get going.

    Blackburn HT & FT 14/1

    Spurs are dire recently, Bburn fighting for their lives. More a bet with the heart than the head, but if they are up at half time I should be able to lay it off for a decent win.
