Your thoughts on sky poker please

Good day to everyone, hope you are all well:
I have a few mate at work who keep telling me that sky players are rubbish they can not play poker, that’s why they moved to another site, well good luck to them on there new sites.
It made me think how many sky poker players hear the same thing, we all know we have a good range of players, I call it the good the bad and the ugly, the good are good, learn a lot from the really good ones, the bad can be bad but we have got the potential to improve if we want to, the ugly they the grinders play well, but times chance there hands play something that you don’t normally want to play but just do.           
I think you want to play these players who knock sky, if they really think the players are that bad, then they should be queuing up to play us, easy money as they say, don’t see many if any, so if you come across any of these players do what Tikay says stick it in there eye lol.

Everyone at my local is rubbish at darts. It would be much better if Phil Taylor was playing.


Did your mates go to that site where they can play against the likes of Daniel & Elky? A proper challenge!

You know what people are like, a few bad beats and there off, complain about river cards, going all in with a hope and a prayer, carnt take it, they want to have it easy, i told them this but you know how they are no understanding of the game.

I think it's good how there are a lot of 'rubbish' players here because it is the perfect place to learn. It's so easy to improve your game, you just have to get yourself involved with the community!

I joined as one of the terrible players mentioned and from watching the TV channel and reading the forum I believe I've improved, and the only way is up. I'm already thinking about doing a few SPTs next season. To be honest, if people leave then it's their loss

I totally agree, i am still learning and got a very long way to go, but one thing that i got that my mates haven't, is willingness to learn, trial and error, don't mind a few bad beats not saying it doesn't hurt or get to me, but next hand come round and start again, learn from bad beats not moan about them, i don't think my mates understand this, never mind hope the enjoy what they do

Yeahh, whenever I have a big loss or even a big win I look at the hand and think what I could have done better. Then if I don't know, I'll post it in the clinic and get someone elses opinion. So far all I've made is profit but I am prepared to lose a little for 'learning purposes' ahahh

Plain and simple, it's a great site, I would not have half as much fun playing poker if I didn't play on Sky.

The topic of bad players, that's just silly, Luke Scwartz even said he might get his 'horses' to sign up when he seen how bad some of the play was. I have heard that some of the standard of play here is softer, but you will get that on a site with 5,000 players compared to a site with 150,000 players. Don't complain, it's easier to win.

Hey its not me saying this it my work mates,
 i defend sky the best i can, i tell them if they think  they are better players then come back, lets learn from you, same old story comes back, don't like 6 max tables, i tell them we still have 10 max, bad beats so on so on, i give up in the end. as i said before good luck to them on there sites.

it was only a post to see if any of you hear the same nonsense.

People who say stuff like that tend to be poor players who have no idea about the game at all.  If they were a good player then they would just stay on here 24/7 and just clean up cos of all the poor players on every table.

Just like the OMG its rigged/the RnG on Sky is wrong brigade.  Have no idea about the game and the amount of variance involved.

EVERY site has those kind of haters.....hear it in poker rooms up and down the country....in fact once I heard someone say 'oh XYZ Poker is so rigged its untrue...now I play on ABC Poker and its a fair game'....I did want to point out that both of those poker rooms were just skins of the same network but sometimes you gotta just let the ignorant stay ignorant and live in their fantasy lands.

Don't even bother arguing with them....
