When did Sky start letting people take their Sat entry in cash?

Never used to be allowed....if my work rota changed I would just have to lose the entry....what happened?

    What were the actual circumstances?

    Because sometimes people register in a tourney, then try to satellite in, and if they win a seat, because they are already registered, they get the cash.

    will not be happy if this is the case 

    have tried on various occasions to get the cash value and not had any joy

     lambert is correct

     have done it myself paid entry to the bigger mtts then played a frenzy our direct sat and got my full tourny buyin back for winning it

    as for you deregestering thats differant as people still play the tourny

    So what you are saying is that they dont get their Sat entry winnings back, they get their full buy-in entry back?

    if you register before you win the seat u get cash. Not sure when people realised this or whether its always been the way
