    I'd like to know if they can even be profitable?

    Has anyone actually beat them over a load of games? What's a realistic ROI?

    Be good to hear from sum1 who plays tonnes.

    Fairly sure that sharksbite took a crack at these when they were first offered and did a forum post....she played a tonne and had a small profit IIRC.

    I've only played a small sample, but these are easily beatable at low stakes imo. Almost certainly more beatable than DYMs, probably HU STTs too. Keep it tight early, play pairs and premium aces only, conserve your stack. Change gears and up the aggro from level 3 or 4, short stack skills and knowledge of push/calling ranges are a neccesity. Learning how to exploit the bubble is key, as is a strong HU game. You must play for the win, second is just a small consolation prize, the win is everything. One win returns the same profit as eight second places (eg at £1.10 buy-in second place returns profit of 40p, first place returns a profit of 340p).

    Edit;

    Scoped myself after making that post; I've played 122 of these in 2012, mainly in the early stages of my £51 --- /> £1,051 thing with an av ROI of 31%. A small sample admittedly, though 31% ROI is impossible in DYMs or HUs.
