Yes i am on a massive heater but it cant all be luck in my opinion.  For example i had a massive chip lead in the main event on wednesday with 30 players left and got unlucky with trips over another set of trips with a bigger kicker but yet i may have ran well in other spots its all varience poker.  With regards to making profits up that is laughable ive lost 1 session in 2 weeks or something like that i think but im sure i am due for a big losing day soon due to the nature of varience in poker

Ok 1st off with regards to the hit and run i was playing well above my roll and honestely didnt know this was considered bas etiquette until now so apolagise if this caused any offense to you and yes i know this is not a winning strategy more like taking a small shot.  I have finally got my head around everything said on here and decided to take things serious.  I will be playing my last 2 hours of cash on sky right now between 1 and 2 then i will never play cash on here again unless i have a serious roll.  yesterday i was playing 50nl 100 nl 100 nl cash.  Was looking good for a run in the main late on but busted out when i made a move with k10.  So i have finally got my fix of the bigger games and time to settle down. Profit yesterday: -£30.17 Bankroll: £2680.11 C4P: 3304 (£46.26)

    Really interesting read Bearly.

May I ask what made you change your mind about playing cash?

both are actually the same and its common misconception to think otherwise, excepts sets can mean the obvious trips(three of a kind) and even fours (four of a kind) as in as set of trips...

But saying that above is a bit old school, and separating sets and trips makes discussing hands much easier, but i wouldnt nit pick if someone uses either to describe a situation tbh.

PPL neerd to lay off the dude, hes getting alot of borderline abuse or critism here. Ok give him advice but stop saying how bad u think he is or posting hands there really is no need.

Keep doing well mate, haters gonna hate jam it in their eye!

You're that lucky I'd fold aces preflop to you.

You must win the prize for...

    A) Completely ignoring the level headed advice from YG to stop giving this guy such a hard time.

    AND

    B) Trolling the forums, whinging about rubbish and barely ever giving any sort of valid, useful input.

You'd be incredibly lucky to get Aces in the first place as he always has 2 of them whenever I'm playing him :( Every. Single. Hand.

It's just the new Sky player run good, after a few months he'll get people hitting runner runner straight flush against him when we flop a full house, like the rest of us ;)

Agree with not posting hands - and not abuse - but criticism is absolutely in order. Bearlyther has come on board with ability, but also an attitude if I believe everything I read on this thread. Peeps were very generous with advice, and despite it being a poker site were not just gung-ho go for it.

He has ignored most of the advice, and also his own conclusions, which he is fully entitled to do.

But compare his attitude with evilpingu, who came on board in a blaze of glory with his MTT bink, TV w.h.o.r.e.d himself with an aggressive exciting style, but then hit the reality of variance. He is now grinding, displaying his ups and downs to us all in his diary, and behaves in a frighteningly honest and fair manner.

Maybe B can be another E, or even better, but his comments and alledged behaviour at the tables leaves a lot to be desired.

Bearlyther - you clearly have ability, I would like to see you try to tame your inner self and deliver some great results in which we would all cheer, instead of gaining a legion of people who would rather see you fail.

Thanks young gun appreciate it.  All the guy does is come on here and moan about bad beats and how lucky everybody else is if you cant deal with it then poker isnt the right game for you.

You're the only person I've moaned about? And it's not that I can't deal with it because I've only played you in DYM's and I've never been unlucky against you but the amount of times I've seen you get it in 80/20 behind and you come out with a runner runner flush is just a joke, I don't care anyway cuz it helps me in a way if it's a DYM

Well just off the top of my head, from very recent posts, you've compared taking cash advice from Rancid to taking driving lessons from a blind person, and you've said that you would never play cash on this site.

We all know about variance, I'm sure there are plenty of times to come when he will be the 80/20 favourite and lose. If he's going pro and doing it for a living, he's gonna need to take these ups and downs in his stride.

One thing about Bearlyther is I've yet to hear him moaning and groaning about bad beats, yes he might be on a bit of a heater but everyone gets the odd outdraw even on a heater. He's mentioned them in passing but glad to see there's none of the 'Sort it out Sky', or '**** Sky river'.
