Hi all! (New, as you can guess)

Hey all, I'm Josh and I've been playing poker for around a year although I've never sat at a live table. I've probably played hundreds of thousands of hands online though so I have a fair understanding however it's likely you'll all have some things to point out for me, which is good!

I've had a quick look at the poker clinic and I'm impressed, you'll probably be seeing some hands from me there shortly!

    Thanks folks, wish me luck for the Blackburn v Wigan match (football, yes) because I have my £10 free bet on Wigan. Possibly a little bonus towards my bank roll ahahh. See, it does have a reason to be in the poker general chat section - I mentioned bank roll!

    Running good so far, got my bank roll up to £20 from nothing so I'm going to see how long I can last before I have to deposit something. You never know, I might not have to! :P

    hi Josh welcome to the forum,had some good battles with Barnsley in the 80s,that David Currie ripped us bits a few times.gl at the tables

    Well my plan is to only risk 10% of my bank roll at any given time so I'll be starting with DYMs and then progressing to the cash tables when I have enough to be comfortable with. I'll be playing a few tournaments too but if I ever get in to any of the bigger ones it will be from a satellite :)

    Hi Josh. Welcome to Sky Poker. Everyone is great on the community and I hope you enjoy it. The Poker Clinic is a great tool and if you post hands there people generally give constructive comments that will help you improve. Hope to see you at the tables and wish you the best of luck.     Thanks! I'm not sitting at any cash tables just yet until 100BBs is 10% or less of my (free) bank roll. I've probably said it further up but I can't be bothered looking, I'm going to try and do my best from what I managed to get from free tournament entries :)
