Super Roller guarantee decreased?

The Easter Super Roller had a £25k guarantee, but this one only has a £20k guarantee, despite the guarantee being smashed last time.

What are the reasons for the guarantee being decreased, as it makes no sense to me?

There is far less poker traffic in the Summer, compared to the Winter. Online Poker is extremely seasonal.

The Easter Super Roller was £25,000 Guarantee, the June Jubilee Roller will be £20,000 Guarantee, if they run one next Xmas, I would anticipate nearer a £30,000 or £40,000 Guarantee.

    Probably time of year.

I would still think that the numbers will be kind of similar.  I'd expect more than 300

20k is a good prize pool for a £100 tourney there will be no overlay thats for sure...oh its a seasonal thing :)

Lets hope so, that would mean £30,000+ in the Prize Pool.

The Guarantee is irrelevant if we get more, & the more the better.

Maybe I'm being naive but I always think, once it breaks the guarantee what does it matter? It's almost certainly gonna break the guarantee, so if it gets 21k or 25k or 30k it's gonna be 100% down to the number of runners that enter and not Sky. I can't see anyone who would enter if it wsa 25k but decide to give it a miss cos it's only 20k

    Thoughts?
