When to raise

Hi All

Just A quick 1 here really can anyone give me a bit of advice when im playing pocket KK AA. Im finding that if i raise up with my pockets i get no action. If i just flat called i just manage to win the hand with some scary cards on the board. 10/20p table i would raise up to £1.40p i thought that was cheap but get no action

My question is Slow play or just keep rasing it up and hope for a caller, or am i just leaving money at the table?

you should choose an amount to raise e.t.c 3xbb/4xbb and always raise that amount whatever cards you choose to raise with.......then players wont get scared if you are suddenly raising 8xbb......

p.s never limp with them!....unless you are prepared to let them go to a wet board/all-in...gl,dave

    Be consistent.

Don't raise 3x with hands like J10, then raise 8x with AA and KK. People will notice.

If you never get any action with your raises it may mean that you are playing very tight. If the whole table notices you are tight and solid, you'll often get no action. Maybe try opening up a bit more so they are not sure how tight or loose you are, you could try raising wider, raise hands like J-10--- 78 suited ect, if they see you do this, they will be far more likely to call your AA raise. floppa whoppa!
