Going to lol as I just put a similar comment on another thread, but its true so i'll put it.

Had a 3 day session during extended downswing where this happened 9 times in 2 days, 4 of which happened within a 30min window while multitabling.

Lead to me taking a long break from online.  It is what is, a mental challenge.  Amusingly watched it happen twice in an hour in a live session last week with flopped boats getting turned over by river boats vs OP's.  (Again described in BBV).

But tbh MTT's ARE about luck to a high degree, by definition high variance game.

    Grim tho.

If you really believe that mtts are ALL about luck then please explain how one player can in the space of 10 days do this:
    1st Primo
    1st 6k open
    1st 4k BH
    2nd Primo
    2nd 4k BH
     Are they just incredibly lucky?

    Me or OP'ster?

Response would be:  MTT's are by defintion high variance, ergo we have to run well aswell as play well.  I dont really see how that could ever be up for debate??

Individuals can run well/bad for extended periods of time.  In any sample size there will be statistical abnormalities, impossible for there not to be.  If you think a person can get those results in such a short time frame w/out running well........ well that would be funny.

But I never said All about luck, nor would I.

I think OP'ster demonstrates it quite well going to river as 96% fav in each hand :p

The OPs heading ,"An people say MTTS are not all about luck "is what i am disagreeing with.
Of course as we all know you need  bit of luck to hold your +50% but the skill will get you in the right situation to win, so Mtts are not ALL about luck so i am one of those people saying that.

    Fair enough :p

Think guy is entitled to a little rant given hands tho tbh.

At least is in bbv rather than A51.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I was in a very bad mood yesterday because hands like these have been happening to me alot lately.

I agree that MTT's are not 100% luck and you need a large degree of skill to be able to consitantly cash in them.
BUT no matter how good you are if you run bad you lose.

Think they have been incredibly incredibly incredibly super lucky.
    Don't know who you're talking about(don't care) i'm sure
they're a good player(prob very good) but how much luck
has been carried, how many flips won in this run.
Agree its not ALL about luck but it plays a HUGE part in MTTs,
    esp tournys with 400-500 runners.

Luck and skill have to run in tandem you CAN NOT have one with out the other to win mtts its a ying and yang thing. Although saying that some do win on the odd ocassion purely on luck lol.
