Just thought you'd like to see something similar. Mini open from sunday and this when 60 odd players left and button approaching. i just don't know what cameover me looking at his stack size and reraise. I know i should have NOT reraised all-in(or maybe even called?). I'm probably at best flipping and kicked myself instead of the cat, this time....
What are your thoughts?
Sometimes that button is a little too tempting methinks!!
PS Hope you went on to do well Adzey...well played..

Since when has 'this deep' been <15bb lol. Getting 88 aipf isn't actually that bad, but fold would be optimal

if you have reads that villain is aggro and 3bets light then this is fine! even if you don't your play is still ok - maybe fold would be best but mine's def worst lol

You should IMO always have a plan when you raise into other stacks that can very easily 3bet, (20bb effective in this case, perfect size for me) he however makes a small 3bet which kinda gives his hand away.

But in general if people are likely to 3bet AI in you should either open tighter as not to keep bleeding money with minraise/folds or be willing to snap them off a lot lighter, here though you're not actually light (88 has good equity) so should IMO be ok getting it in if he were to shove but again fact he's made small 3bet kinda telegrapghs monster so changes things.

both opponents are 30BB deep here, awkward stack size i admit but no ready for getting 88 in yet imo only hands we beat their calling with is AK/AQ both of which is a flip, we;'re folding out all the other worse hands and dnt have odds to set mine.

His 3bet out of his stack size looks super strong to me so I would be leaning towards a fold.

    Oppo has 4200 + 8234 + 12434/600 = 20.7bbs right?

You have 22 but that is not effective stack.

    Am I reading it wrong?

Cheers folks and good observations all round i think. Possibly the one that rings truest for me is his min raise with such a stack size. I should have been more wary.
The Re may have made him think twice but i should defo have folded his AI.
Well. there's another notch on the learning belt!!
