PLO8 - Anyone ever wondered????????????

I play PLO8 a lot on site and have only just realised that I don't not know for certain what would happen in this situation. I know i can look it up but it is more fun to see if anyone knows the definitive answer without looking it up. I have my own theory but I really am not 100% positive.

the query is: if the low is a wheel A2345 - is this beaten by a "BASHING WHEEL" all the same suit? Obviously it would be in the Hi - but I am pretty sure that it would be a chop if two players  had the wheel - even if one was a "straight flush".

Of course the same flush would almost certainly (but not definitely) win the top hand too!!!!!!

Yup, low is low, regardless of flushiness.  It would be a chop as you have described, so you'd get 1/4 of the pot (half of the low) and the straight flush wheel would get 3/4 of the pot (providing no better straight flushes are out there).

the straight flush would take the high, and half of the low pot, taking 75% of the pot, leaving a unfortunate someone quatered, just taking 25% of the pot.

In making a low hand flushes are ignored I believe and it would be a chop.
