I did it my way......!!

And now the end was near and so i faced the final table...........

So i jammed it in their eye..............

And won it myyyy wayyyy....!!!!

Seriously though i was well chuffed with taking down my first ever MTT in the DTD last night.
Massive thanks to all who were on the rail last night (too many to mention).
My heart was pumping , hands were sweating , what a feeling.... I want more !!!!

    wd buddy its a great feelin and why we play, an mtt win is the best out of all the formats imo and a real acheivment to take one down n1 now go win another one :)

    Such a buzz just to final table for the first time , would of been happy with 6th but i guess the gods were on my side last night.
    Was also interesting that players were chatting earlier about the guy i was HU with , saying how loose he was , playing any 2 cards. 
    I had that in my mind when we were HU.

    yea thats the real test of skill and all the way you play during the torny totaly changes when your hu so you played well especialy against a loose agressive player. Button means everything hu. But what you have to remember also when your hu is the cards dont generaly matter as any two can win it not like the early stages of the mtt, for instance you can raise with anything and hit with any 2. Its all about applying pressure ad keeping momentum hu. Its worth having a few hu games to practice for when you get to that stage in an mtt.

    To be perfectly honest the HU was a bit of a blurr.
    Got pocket QQ's early on which doubled me up then 6 hands later this happened :-)

    probably right - been struggling recently on DYM's but i'm sure its just variance as i'm still profit for them.

    Very well played. That first MTT win is an amazing feeling. Mine was £41 for first in a freeroll with nearly 1000 entrants. At the time I was a newbie playing £1.15 DYMs so £41 was absolutely huge.

    Where there's one there's another ......... and another ......... and another.

    Now go and find 'em!

    Sounds like we had similar starts to our poker career.
