how does this work cash for points...........1000 = £10 ...... 1500 = £15 ....... now the funny bit 2000 = £24 thats a total of £9 more the last 500 points ...... but for your next 500 points you only get £6 thats 2500 = £30 ..... any takers ????
I'm not 100% sure all your figures are right but essentially, there are thresholds where the value of your points increase in value. I.E. you get 1p per point for if you've earned 1000 points, with higher points you can get 1.4p per point, 2p, 3p etc.
And it is money for nothing. Ya should be making your profit from beating the game, then C4P is a nice bonus
Obviously it's only a small percentage back of what you pay in rake, but rake is how Sky make their money, and if you go play live in a casino you won't get that money back. You'll generally get some kind of loyalty deal like money off drinks or whatever but it won't be as good as C4P
Pretty obvious that the more points you earn the more the points are worth .To do this there are thresholds where the value changes such as 2000, 3000, 4000.

You really need to stop being condescending towards people trying to help you. It is only recently Sky have started to pay out on every point you earn, before there was a cutoff at different increments as you earned more points. This page should explain everything https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby/poker-promotions/cash-for-points

In Response to Re: Cash for points.... pffft : Look at it in 1000 point increments and it all makes sense. I did read it properly thanks. Posted by jonjo75
Not sure what you are asking in your original post. Yes the increments since the C4P do have some quirks when you pick out some numbers like you have done, but it's not as simple as that.
Below is a graph I put together when the C4P change came in, showing the new versus the old up to 10k points. Yes there are a few specific point totals towards the beginning of the old increments where the old system would have given out more money. However, there are vastly more points where the new system pays out more. Personally I think the new system is better than the increment system, but as I generate a lot of points I accept people may think I am biased. Hope this helps.

i suggest re reading the promtion page for this offer. it states the thresholds where the payment per point increases. the widget on the homepage is a guide to what your due as it stands. i would say its broken down into 500 for ease of reading.
the price per point increases every 1000 points up to 8000 then its 2000 point jumps to 12k then 4000 jumps
In Response to Re: Cash for points.... pffft : +1 ......... seems you forgot to mention any off the recdord freebies or extra bonus`s Posted by Time_Bomb
That's rather ingracious, not to say churlish, considering TommyD simply tried to answer your question patiently, politely, & with great clarity, Mr Bomb.
For the record, TommyD gets NO extra bonus's, no "off the record freebies", and receives no fee for giving up his personal time to be one of the Mods here. There are some people in life, & poker, who just like to try to be helpful. I think we should be very pleased that is the case, too.

You ask a question and get a fantastic answer and you reply with this. Again why so angry?

1000 x 1p = £10
1500x1p =£15
2000x1.2p=£24
2500x1.2p=£30
3000x1.4p=£42
3500x1.4p=£49
