Kicking myself........

I'd played in DTD forum night before and was a little disappointed that i'd played passively at times. In the end got a good overall 6th(best yet by far) but no way did i fight for a win....strategy was survival....Consequently, very minimal cash.
So tonight i wanted to play more aggressively in the late stages. this was one step too far but after being knocked out i put in the chat box after wishing everyone good luck......
"Now where's that poker clinic!!!". So here it is .....Be honest as usual....Silly AI isn't it?
Had no reads and really hadn't played this player much at all. The table had seen some of my all-ins and had seen good hands from me so i thought i'd discounted a bluff.
Now i see from his point ofview that 'ive no real fold equity so he has a hand. Kick, kick, kick...now where's that cat?....

I fold or shove pre. With 15bb, I don't want to mess about with hands like QJ in mid position.

Are you bluffing on the turn? Or value betting?

If you're bluffing, do you really think you can make him fold an ace? What other hands can you make him fold that beat you? I can't think of any.

As I said in your other thread, try and think about what hands he most likely has and go from there.........

    think :)

Spot on Dohhh. I recognise now that his perception that i was pot committed was enough to allow me to fold. QJs was me trying to involve myself in pots in position and be more aggressive. Check raise was poss ok but the ai call was poor, i recognise wholeheartedly. Cheers

Never min raise pre just gonna put yourself in REALLY horrible spots, for example I presume you fold if someone shoves over your raise?

And most times you miss flop so then have to deiced whether to cbet from tiny stack.

On turn I would just call, there's no point in raising as only get called by better.

    Hi
Actually it was from the £400 bh
Hand number 522761558 and it was at 23:14. Sorry it wasn't a tv table
There is an overview in the post in the linic.
Main things were that table had seen me go all-in with very good hands recently but on reflection he knows by the all-in that the fold equity isn't there so i should realise he has a strong hand. Silly really.... probably a fold/shove hand on reflection...and i'm leaning towardsfold...EASY ISN'T IT AFTER THE FACT?
