30p dyms gone missing

have sky stopped doing the 30p micro DYMs.

    Hi Freshener

    Welcome to the community. Demand for these has declined quite a bit recently, at the same time we've been looking at making sure people dont have to wait too long for a game so we have removed them for now.

    As a result of this change, the 60p game liquidity should improve too.

    well that aint no good people are trying to complete the dym challenge which starts at 30p coulda had some notice that they were coming off to be fair

    it looks like its not working,i play the omaha dyms and sometimes the holdem turbos and theres no one registering for them now  , where as be4 i was playing up to 10 games at once with the 30ps running....

    So much for the challenge increasing the number of people playing the micro stakes Dym's then Daz. I always found they filled up pretty quick, just means the people with between 30p & 60p in their account have to reload now.

    my partner (lol_i_call) plays these and never waits more thn 5 mins for a game. Reduce rake and bring em back imo.

    + 1 i can on get a 30p dym quicker than any other dym on here lol, its a great way for beginners to learn without risking to much. Not only that players who have lost there br and have the odd few pence left like i did can use whats left rather than it just sitting there.

    well i never waited long for a 30p dym and as i only have a small bankroll and play for fun, these were ideal especially if i was down to my last 40p/50p. and no notice given either, come on sky you can do better than that.

    30p dym's ran more than any other dym.Just another nail in the coffin for the small bankroll rec's.

    It's a real shame to see these games gone. Admittedly I don't play them very often but I know there are ALOT of players that do.

    Regarding demand, I'd wager that most high buy in games don't run too often. By your logic will you be taking them down sky? 
      I hope the 30p removal is reconsidered and the reg fee for all are dyms lowered.

    Hi all

    Thanks for the feedback.

    It's not a simple decision to make on this and we're doing it for the reasons given. We're constantly trying to make improvements and tweaks to the schedules etc, especially as seasonality has an effect. We know from experience that not all changes get universal approval but we do try to take a balanced view.

    We'll continue to monitor the impact of this and, based on this, see if it has delivered the benefits to liquidity / speed of games starting. We may bring them back in future.

    Closed to avoid going round in circles but we'll keep you updated.
