I have a problem with my laptop. I think after couple of hours on it overheats and shut downs. I have bought a stand with a cooler, things are a bit better now but when I connect my second monitor still the same problem occurs.
Not much you can do about it. If it's oldish or has been in a dusty / area with cats / dogs you could try vacuuming the dust/hair/fluff out of it. The only safe way is to use a normal vacuum cleaner with the nozzle attachment and point it into any ventilation slots you can find and hope it sucks out any blockages.
I will give it a try... Thank you Machka... I think I was sitting on your right on the Friday side event in SPT Brighton...Am I right? Posted by GreekWay
