....watching Channing and co from last night. Honesty is the best policy they say and he was brill!!!!
I got so drawn in that i watched the full night and wasn't disappointed. A fun, informative set of shows with good banter and post presence!!!
I was on the receiving end of a couple of the "What is he doing that for?"  moments but laughed allowed myself!
Anyway, i'm off for my first bike ride for a year to the golf course to play my first game for  months (just had my gall bladder out....will my swing be affected , i ask? No worries i'll just go all-in and leave the difficult decision up to the ball!!!!
"Have a nice day now y'awl!"
PS Much as i like 'Channing' as he now calls himsel(third person, no less) f he should make a better effort with his T-shirt and hoodie. He looked like a Freegen just about to go to the bins at Tesco's!!! Well, Neil, you did give me three out of ten, mate!!! Seriously, a very nice man and his banter with Snoopy was really good too. I loved it. Didnt expect so much knowledge from you 'Snoops'......

Snoops is no longer blonde, either!

Mr Channing was his usual scruffy self, but that's Neil, what you see is what you get. His office is just round the corner from the Studio, & he'd been working all day I expect. He often pops in for a cuppa & a chat, I just sit there & listen. Not much choice, really.

You never mentioned Jen Mason, who I thought has progresssed stunningly well in the Analysts seat, & I'm really very proud of her, though I guess I'm biased, as we are very good friends & colleagues from a long long way back, & we've worked together on poker stuff everywhere from Walsall, to Paris, Barcelona, & Las Vegas.

A stunningly bright & cheery individual, & I don't think, once in all that time, I've ever heard her moan about anyone, & she's full of cheerfullness & fun, THE perfect companion, & absolutely delightful company.

Orford will be hurt. Is Jen going Vegas?...I think she would be an asset to your team with her reporting skills and people skills.

Mr. Profman.....I have seen a few of your posts now, and even though a bit left field, I have enjoyed reading them. Start up a diary, it will be fun. I don't read the ones that have hand after hand after hand after beat after win....I like those with a bit of real life in them.

Jen going to Vegas? Not that I'm aware, or at least, not for Sky Poker. I'm having lunch with her next week down in Brighton, I'll try & twist her arm to do Vegas.

She is actually American, or half American, & holds a USA Passport. Nice for beating the queues in the Vegas Immigration Hall....when she travels back tio the UK, she uses her UK Passport, to avoid the queues this end. Bright girl.

I doubt she'll do Vegas this year though, she's been back & forth to California, where her Dad lives, a lot recently.

She would however, as you note, be an asset to ANY Team out there, she has incred people & reporting skills. She was the first ever "Live Update" reporter I ever employed, & Tighty excepted - a close run thing - the best, too. The next one I took on as a Live Updater? Snoopy!

I've been very lucky with the people I have worked with, down the years, but Jen & snoops are near the top of the list.

If you dont mind we say Tikay it seems youve worked with some fabulous people across the years, Ive only came across Jen really since Cardiff when i decided to watch the channel more often again (mainly because i got my sky television reconnected at that time) and her comments on the channel are top class. I missed the show last night due to a live sat so i dont know who Snoopy is, However Tighty ive met at SPTs and another live poker event when he was doing commentary for Blonde, and hes always extremely helpful.

If i can say by the time im your age ive met half as many good people as you have Tikay ill be saying life well spent.

Yeah, missed the show last night unfortunately but will definitely be on the look out for the repeat, I think Channing is definitely one of the best guests the show have had on in it's time. That obviously doesn't take away from the other great players on the show, I just find the way Neil talks about the game so easy to take in.

    Hi Tikay

It's very true.Sorry that i didn't hve time to be more detailed Tikay but i'd decided to have my first game of golf since having my gall bladder out in feb. However, i don't drive as i have epilepsy which thankfully is well-controlled so i have a mountain bike which was going to get me there via two train stations. Consequently, i was sitting there at my computer in my full lycra biking kit. NOT a pretty sight, believe me!!! I just wanted to let people know that they missed some great shows and then to release the blood flow to certain parts of my anatomy.
Please say a big thank you to James and Jen(ps tell him i've forgiven him for not reading my jingle out. Mind, i'd sent so many posts he'probably got muddled. Maxally asked me to write a diary of some sort so i may just put the story there.
Jen has come on massively since her nervy beginning and she is a ray of sunshine on the set(By the way , congrats to the dress up team as her hair and clothes are spot on now. She looked really attractive(don't tell my girlfriend that!). Tikay, i must say too that James is a consummate professional(when he remembers to shave) and really good fun. Sky have a winning team and the 'pairings' all have a nice 'homely' feel to them. (Does Trevor ? not do it anymore. I liked him a lot.) A bit like your auntie and cousin popping in unexpected for a cup of tea.
I must admit to being thoroughly smitten with the game AND the channel programmes. Keep up the good work....I'm determined to get to an SPT one day.
    All the best

+1 . Watched her first show after her previous nights SPT 2nd place and i,ve been a fan ever since. Some ppl can come accross on tele as nice genuine ppl and then you meet them in real life  and its a different story, but i,m sure she,s just as nice in person
