This really serious question? I mean you're let in for free and hit your flush draw and fold to an 8p bet? If it is a serious question then while I don't like to be to harsh generally this is a pretty horrible fold.

Did you have some reasoning behind why you folded? At least then maybe we can be constructive about why it shouldn't be a fold etc. :)

Your have about a roughly 1 in 3 chanc eof hitting a flush and are already getting 2:1 on your money + the fact there will be betting on later streets. For such a cheap price with good odds this should be a call everytime

Not totally accurate. He is making his choice with ONE card to come, not two. He will e having to face a new bet (possibly) on the turn, so his odds can only be assessed on the flop to turn, not flop to river which is what you've done with here with your calculation.

Nit picking, but wanted it to be clear to him. :D

Way too tight mate, in holdem. In omaha you pretty much want to to drawing to the nut flush. Not holdem. In holdem you pretty much looking to get 100 bbs or less in with any flush most of the time, depending on reads on your opponent and and number of players in the pot etc. This is because it is far harder for people to hit big hands in holdem. Therefore they tend to play hands that are far from the nuts, much stronger.

If the board pairs i would be more reluctant to get my money in with a low or medium flush, if it is a single raised or limped pot.

You are getting 4:1 on a call and you are 4:1 to hit your flush on the turn. You can win a lot of money if you hit your flush on the turn, therefore you have very good implied odds. If you hit you flush and the board doesn't pair you will have the best hand and be dominating lower flushes way way more often then you will be behind.

Defo call flop as you're being given the correct odds, 8p to win 32p which is better than you actually need.

Also at this level you should have big implied odds where people are happy to pay you off with TP and most pair hands.

Thx all (including the nasties) - on reflection it was too tight but I had chased two previous draws without hitting and felt that the gods were against me.
