Hi folks,

Well, i'm plum tuckered out.!!

I was in with a chance of winning the DTD forum tonight after a 12th and a 6th. Three tables are a bit stressful for me but i really enjoyed it. Hitman and Maxally were the only one's left playing that could overtake my score but both of them needed to win the last tourney to win on countback for lowest finish.

I decided to watch when there were two tables left. Hitman was chip leader and both made it to the final table. It was really great to see it unfold. Maxally went out in fifth but then the big moment occurred as it had on my final table.........

Hitman's  JJ was called by elsadog's  KK.
On my final table my KK all-in was called by CVH's 99.

CVH caught the 9 and Hitman caught the J....I was out and Hitman had a massive stack. On such small chances are wins decided. I'm so pleased with myself that i didn't tilt one iota and my screen is intact!!

Anyway, Hitman still had work to do and donnabelucky gave him a great game heads up. Until a big hand (AX to Kx) split their stacks significantly. A couple of successful AI's by donnabelucky and then the coup de gras was carried out....a win for Hitman.
 
I thoroughly enjoyed 'being a part' of the 'endgame', as it were and thanks to the fella's who run it so well. I got a post on the other night reinforcing everyone's view that you should have some free entries.

All the best Hitman with your prize as i'm sure you'll put it to better use than i would!!!

PS I may update my achievement's profile now...this novice sees a 2nd in the DTD Forum as a big thing!!!! And the best bit about it was that it was pure fun!!! All the best...
 
PPS Would you believe that i was even sat next to a player who lives in my avenue....18AND5TIME....now that's a coincidence eh?

Was Great nite!! well done & ty to Michael for organising on his own, as was without Chris tonight!!

Am doing the team league at the moment & I cant believe how close it has finished!!

Nice post. Yep, the DTD nights are the best poker fun you can have for a fiver anywhere IMO. There are fine margins most weeks and I am sure your night will come soon. 

BTW, I have just seen your PM and will reply to it later today.

PS....Hitman is a total luck box who gets personnel training from Solack.
