Am I right in saying you have 10 outs for a boat, 7 cards for a flush (presuming villain has flush) which gives you around 34% equity meaning you need 3/1? You're not quite getting 3/1 but villain doesn't have flush 100% of the time which always makes this a call

34% = roughly 1 in 3 you win which = 2:1. So other than that mistake the odds are correct to make this call.

Your running the math on basis villain always has a flush here.  Think is definately a mistake.

I think they have a flush here a very large amount of the time, but not always. I would not expect a set or two pair not to flat the flop, and then go wild when a flush comes on the turn. I think an ace with a good diamond would almost always just flat call turn. Given that you bet the turn I think you have to call shove. Especially since you have nut outs.

I would check call the turn. He can bet weaker hands for value eg aces with strong flush draws etc. Unless he bets a massively abnormal bet on the turn you will be getting the odds to hit your nut cards on the end. Then you have a huge implied odds on the end.

Weak medium and strong aces may not give you 3 streets of value anyway,  especially with a flush on board, so missing a bet on the turn won't cost you too much in that sense.Given that you have two aces and one on board, this makes them having an ace more unlikely and therefore their range becomes weighted more towards flushes, then it would otherwise.

Another benefit of check calling turn, will be received in your overall game. By having a very strong hand in your check calling range here on the turn, this will balance out the times when you check call here with a marginal hand. When you check turn the opponent pretty much knows it is extremely unlikely you have a flush.(Maybe a very small flush) Therefore if you only check call marginal hands on the turn, they have huge license to bet turn and river with bluffs or semi bluffs and force you off of your hands at their free will. as your range, when check calling the turn will be very capped.
