Question about De-registering

I won a satalite but what happens if i de-register from the main event i got through too, will i get the value of the ticket put into my account or do i lose it?, im prob going to play it but what if i cant make the event on that day.

    pretty sure u lose ur reg fee, best bet is to contact customer support and see if you can work something out, i couldnt play an MTT once so i asked them to put me in the following weeks one
