Should there be a dedication section on the forum for Blogs/Diary's

Have been tempted to start one but dont want to clog the forum up.

cant decide there are a lot popping up now but it is nice to see them updated on a daily basis and you get more traffic on the general section so cant vote.

Been discussed a million times, hard to say really. If they get moved, I think the majority will be forgotten apart from the really good ones, and they help fill up GPC. Without them GPC would be empty lol.

Unlikely to happen.

Before the diaries flourished GPC was a bit of a ghost town, the majority of new threads were of the moaning/miserable/complaining/'sort it out Sky' type. A small number of serial posters were dominating the forum and making 90% of all posts. The tournament results thread I maintain used to rarely drop off page 1 last year, nowadays it's usually on page 3 by the time I go to post the daily update.

Whether you like 'em or not the diaries have revitalised GPC and led to a huge increase in the number of people regularly posting, it would probably be a mistake to remove them.

I wasn't around when GPC was a "ghost town" but totally agree with Gary & for me there is plenty of variation between the Diaries, Blogs, Quests, Challenges etc that make them suitable to be in GPC

Keeep them where they are.....that way the moany woany threads disappear into obscurity quicker

It would be a real shame to move them somewhere else just for them to be forgotten about. People put a lot of time and effort into some of these diaries and they have some great talking points, which is a positive thing for GPC imo.

There are getting to be an awful lot of them. At the time of writing there are six on the front page alone. It strikes me that if they are popular, people will go and find them in a dedicated diary section.

I'm not all that fussed, though. I don't really read any of them so have no preference.

I never got my dairy subforum, so I don't see why you should get your diary subforum...
