Another live break even session, this hand is really frustrating me and am curious what lines youd take.

7 handed live NL100 table.

CO makes it £3.5, button calls as does SB.  I have 55 in BB.  Gettingn 6/1ish I set mine.

CO = ATC spewdog 120bb
BTN = TAGish 200bbs
SB = SUlag but knows how to bet his hand for value 200bb.
BB = hero, 100bs (not long topped up)

My image is pretty rocky, but have shown a few ridic bluffs in right circumstance (HU IP = uber kamikaze otherwise), but overall mostly have the goods

£14 in pot, 4 to flop Ac5dKc.  Beeotiful.  SB checks,  Oppos are uber laggy, go broke ridic light.

What do you do?.............

Bet big. Idk how bad players are live having never played live cash, but I'm always leading out here. Sizing depends on how much you think can get paid from Ax and flush draws.

Ditto to what Pingu said. Super wet board so I'm not risking free cards etc here and will lead out with minimum of 3/4 pot bet, maybe a touch more. Good chance at least one of them has an ace given action so should get some action. Obviously turn could bring some choices given the board, but thats the action I'd take on flop.

How likely is opener to cbet this board?

Can't really go wrong, can lead or c/r imo.

If you lead, are you gonna get 2/3 streets from Ax? Will he get Ax in on the flop even?

I'd check, hopefully be a bet and a call before it gets back to you then raise. Bet turn, jam river :D

leading out looks less strong than a multiway c/r so I'd probz opt for that

Mixed, but the bad are worse than you could imagine/dream of. You seriously ought to try and play live, it can be hugely profitable.

Lead £10 expecting to get shipped in at lest 2 spots.

Muck muck muck, biggest donk @ table shows A10....

Guess donking into 3 just looked too strong here.

Massively surprised though, avg pot was in the £70 mark.  Think just very unlucky not to get action here.

Then lost all profit as game wound down with Ah 9h on 6h7h8c 2c board after getting c/r'd allin on turn, getting 3nhalf to one.................sigh...................

Pretty annoyed as regoppo wouldnt run twice and called clock despite myself showing every equal cortesy in the past.  Never again though.

Myeh just no fun lately :P

Agree.  Aways said a winning nl4 player would equally crush nl50 nl100 live

how do they view you if the biggest donk is folding the effective nuts?? lol

I played £1/£1 recently live for the first time and the standard was either horrific or regular grinders

example hand, limps in two spots - reg grinder bumps to £12 I ship 60bb w/AK - get two callers, one fish, one reg, original reg iso raise folds - last to call eventually shows 23 for a win with 2 pair - lolz

Have to play live more often, saying that this was Saturday night - went back to same casino next day at 1pm and just found one table of regs, not so attractive but still made a small profit )

Wouldnt even enter their head normally for most part, stacks just fly  Sicko thing is he def floats a hand like JQ/K there 100% or time :p

He said @ time he was more afraid of spew seats behind, but myeh.  This was my one real hand in session to turn a profit so fixating slightly, been card dead + running below avg for about 8 weeks now.

Still managing to break even though, think offine BR is -£12 lol but covering expenses also (lol), online much the same.

Just started a new job though (first Full time post in about 3n half years) so think my priorities may be shifting :(

    Yup lol,  Sigh :)

Watched some guy burn through 3k @ live NL 100 other weekend.  Just cant think of anything better than random winning big on Roulette/BJ then giving poker a try :p

TYVM.  Its awesome tbh.  For the 8 years prior to me playing fulltime all my posts were morally dubious to say the least.  Working with very bad natured dangerous individuals (am a mental health nurse).  Am dual qualified and was put on to a job working with Learning disability and its just so good, actually wake up looking forward to day rather than dreading it.

Think playing fulltime was kind of making me bipolar also, just feel more balanced.  Have scaled back my targets & playing hours and seems good.  Dont get me wrong though, if I take down a big one am still packng my suitcase and running off with the EPT :p

    wouldn't of bet out

leading 4 way into a spewdogs pre flop raise seems a pretty strong line to me.

how would you play something like J10cc or similar on this flop? would you also of lead? would be suprised if you say you would.

hindsight do prefer smaller lead/Cr (rep bluff/FD).

Stacks go in so easy on flop though, any FD or A.  My bet pretty much polarises me and basically says zero FE however.

Still feel right bet @ this table, might just scale it back slightly next time to increase oppo's margin for mistakes/spew.
