Can anyone give me the odds/chances on 3 consecutive pocket pairs flopping a set?

I was playing cash last night in the casino and got dealt consecutively 10's 3's & 5's and flopped a set on them all!

Only problem was id folded all 3 :'( haha

10's were re raised massive by tight players, one had AK other QQ
3's were raised again so i folded flop come 238 so flopped another set but even more horrible a guy had flopped a set of 2's
5's again were raised but not much but thought if im playing these im set minding but whats the chances of 3 consecutive sets so folded! 5 on the flop haha

Just interesed to know the odds/chances of this happening as never scene anything like it?

The chances of flopping a set 3 times with 3 pp's consecutively definitely is not 24/3... I aint working it out myself but that's not the answer. It's a lot higher

Just a bit higher, yes. Can't be bothered to work it out either, but it would likely be somewhere in the 3 to 4 million to one range for 3 pp's in a row to flop sets as well.

I thought to have 3 pp's in a row and to flop sets would be big

    it is 1/8*1/8*1/8 = 1/512 = 0.0012% (about a tenth of a percent)

Approx 1/615 to flop 3 consecutive sets ( or better) given you started with pocket pairs

If you want the prob of getting dealt 3 consecutive pps which all flop sets or better it's ~1/3,025 million

Btw stick your post in area 51, surely proof live is rigged

What's the point in knowing the odds of hitting a set three times in a row?

I mean, lets say you had been dealt sets for a thousand straight times, it doesnt matter what the odds are for one thousand and one times are, its still 8-1 THIS time!

    No???

well yes but you still have to be dealt a pocket pair three times in a row, it's not just hitting a set
