Ok I havent played cash in yonks. This hand happened around 3am this morning. I'd been playing quite LAGish, but mainly in position.

Havent played a meaningful pot with villain and no previous reads.

Just looking for general advice on my line in the hand and obv river decision.

I think the river is a bet/fold. We can still get value from Ax, 66, 5x. We'll get looked up by a bigger pair occasionally, but I think there's some thin value in betting the river.

If we thought we were ahead on the flop, then a 4 on the turn, and the river pairing the turn card changes nothing as our opponent should never have a 4 here, as that would make no sense, so we should still think we're ahead on the river if we thought we were good on the flop.

    3 streets from worse on TT5r is optimistic, even @ 3am @ nl10.....

There's no draws at all, I doubt he's gonna turn any kinda hand you beat in to a bluff (22/33 maybe?). He may call again with worse, but there isn't many worse hands he can have now that 22/33 have been cfitted!

    66 & A5 only!

c/f for me, expecting him to check back whenever we're ahead.

Board may have ran out blank but villain won't call 3 streets with 100% of range that calls flop. We may be good v his flop calling range, doesn't mean we are good against his range for calling 3 streets

    c/f>>b/f>>>>c/c imo

Lets have a look shall we!!!

Thanks for the feedback. On reflection i think c/f is probably best and most times that's what i'd do. However, i'd had a few bevvies at the time so my inner station took over.

    gd stuff chaps thanks.

    brag post ftw :p

river is a very polarising card, for that reason am def more inclined to c/c  Agree with what doh says about turn being very optimistic.  def spot to c/c & re assess.

Basically bluffing at best, bloating at worse when we lead.
