I'm sure this subject has been debated endlessly on the forum but, for what it's worth, I follow a 3 step strategy.
1. Remember it's just a game and I only play it for fun.
2. Alway play at level where any monetary loss isn't goimg to be a problem.
3. Finally, and most importantly, after a lifetime obsession with the fortunes of Plymouth Argyle FC nothing that happens on the poker table is ever likely to depress me.
Cheers all

plus always remember someone is always getting a worse beat than you and always remember the bad beats you give others.
ah, plymouth ... sorry.
The wedding eventually went ahead and the photographs were taken (if I looked a bit peculiar in the pictures it's because my arm was twisted up behind my back to stop me dashing off) and I eventually got to the ground in time to see the second half. The afternoon ended on a happy note because the Greens won 1-0 which is more than the marriage did because it ended in divorce but my sister got it right second time round by marrying an Argyle fan and she's now as keen on the Pilgrims as I am.
True story with a happy ending.
1. Poker is a game of luck and skill.
2. In the short-term, luck is king.
3. In the long-term, skill is king.
4. Poker is a game of small edges.
5. Poker is a game of high variance

It goes without saying that taking 6 points off Exeter would be a welcome bonus.
