You sure Solack? I had to find a new hotel yesterday due to the one I had booked has gone busto. Searched on Travelodge and at the nearest to the Casino price was £99 for one night! Funnily enough it got cheaper in branches farther away. A total con I think

I think they push the price up as they sell more rooms - supply and demand tactics.  I got three nights for £175, not exactly cheap but I know what I'm getting with Travelodge - it aint pretty but its clean.

I've just booked two nights for £19.50 each night, and optional Sunday accomodation if I stay on. All I need is somewhere to sleep and wash myself, and it's about a £5 taxi away apparently, suits me just fine. Easy to find cheap places online, starting with a comparison website that sounds similar to ratelooms.com (not to be confused with 'Rate my looms', that famous tailoring specific website)

Lots of cheap and cheerful places in Blackpool due to the competition. In fact my first place was so cheap it went bust. Found a much better deal on one of those websitey things coxy mentioned with a single ensuite and breakfast 2 nights for 50 quid.
